Here’s what past participating schools had to say about this Team Training Opportunity.

"What we taught this year continues to be vital in understanding our country today, and we really appreciate the (PD) opportunity this past summer!"
- Thomas Russell Middle School

"The work reinforced for our teachers the importance of slowing down, taking the time to set the stage, and then to really listen to the kids as they shared their stories. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and intentionality in planning this PD for our school."
- East Bay Innovation Academy

"Thank you so much for this incredible opportunity to attend "Race and Membership" as a team.  The content was nuanced, challenging, and rich, and we were able to work together as a team to engage our students in thinking about the history and current reality of race and white supremacy.  The Facing History approach gave us solid guidance about the scope and sequence of our work with our students.  We're grateful for this experience!"
